Company history
Don & Linda Bilger realized their dream of starting their own business in 1991 when they opened their doors of The Spot. The company quickly grew and expanded into flooring sales and installation in an effort to help customers with all aspects of their flooring. The Bilgers opened a second location with the acquisition of their warehouse/showroom building on Route 60 in Powhatan in July 2000 to serve as their cleaning headquarters and an additional flooring showroom. The Powhatan location is now the single, main location for On the Spot Floors. In November of 2004 they moved their Hull Street location to a new building across from Harbour Point in order to offer a more convenient and expanded flooring store. This location was eventually merged into their main location on Route 60 in Powhatan.
